This page explains what happens to the details you send us. In short: we use them to give you a quote and to do the work. We do not sell them, and we do not send marketing unless you ask us to.
Who we are
Visual Impact Roof Cleaning, a family run roof cleaning business based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect
Only what you type into the quote form or send us on WhatsApp:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your postcode
- Details about the job: which services you are interested in, the type of property, how many storeys, and a preferred date
- Anything you write in the notes box, and any photos you send us
We do not ask for payment details through this website, and you should never send card or bank details through the form.
Why we use it
To prepare and send your quote, to arrange the work, and to contact you about that job. Under UK GDPR our basis is that you asked us to do something before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries.
Who else sees it
The form is delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms, a form processing service. Your submission passes through their systems on the way to us. Their privacy notice is at web3forms.com/privacy.
If you contact us on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp under their own terms.
Other than that, we do not share your details with anyone. We do not sell them and we do not pass them to marketing companies.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted within 12 months. If you become a customer, we keep the job record for 6 years, which is the period we need for tax and insurance purposes.
Website measurement
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they look at. It tells us things like how many visitors came from a Google search. It sets cookies in your browser. You can block them in your browser settings or by using Google's opt out add on.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
- Stop using it for a particular purpose
Email vi.roofcleaning@gmail.com and we will sort it out. There is no charge and we will reply within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If we change how we handle your details we will update this page and change the date at the top.
